During two days of roundtable discussions participants will share materials, exchange ideas and tackle theatre education issues guided by an experienced education director, Kathy Pingel of the Des Moines Playhouse. The conference will begin Friday afternoon and conclude on Saturday. An outing to the Iowa State Fair is planned as an add-on Saturday evening.

Topics will include every aspect of conducting educational programs. Registrants will be asked to rank and add to the topics list prior to the conference, so the agenda will address the biggest concerns and needs of those attending. Plus, the conference will result in renewed enthusiasm and contacts all over the country - a network of colleagues whose friendship and support will be as close as an e-mail or a phone call. The conference is for anyone whatever his or her title, who is responsible for their theatre's educational programs.
