The Missouri Association of Community Theatres (MoACT) is seeking unproduced, unpublished one-act plays.
MoACT will select six plays to be performed August 28, 2010, at the Theatre On The Fly II festival, in a staged Reader’s Theater format. Festival details will be posted on this website in the very near future.
* Plays must be unproduced prior to August 28, 2010. The plays will be performed at Presser Hall, in the beautiful 900-seat theater, in Mexico Mo. Plays must be received by May 1, 2010.
Criteria for Selection:
Plays must be a comedy/drama; no musicals will be considered.
Submitted Scripts will not be returned.
There is a $10.00 per play processing fee, to be paid by check or money order to MoACT. The processing fee, along with scripts submitted by mail, must be received at MoACT (see address below) no later than May 1, 2010.

moact2000@yahoo.comIf you are emailing your script and entry form, then your $10 check or money order must be received by May 1, 2010 to be eligible for consideration.
There is a limit of 3 plays per playwright.
The six chosen plays and their playwrights will be notified by July 1, 2010.
*This is an opportunity to have your play performed before an audience, there are no monetary awards.
